St Columb's Cathedral was built in 1633 it is the oldest building within the historic walled city of Derry.

It is the seat of the Church of Ireland, Bishop of Derry and Raphoe.

the panorama opens looking at the main gates. As we rotate to the right we see along London Street to Bishop Street.

Pump Street is opposite the opening view it leads down to Ferryquay Street.

Continuing our rotation we look along London street towards New Gate. It is the newest of the gates through the walls of Derry and was built in order to facilitate access to the Talbot Theatre, which was the first theatre to be built in Derry, and which is now a Church of Ireland Diosecan office. It is the white building on the left of the of London Street at this point. It was the venue for many plays by George Farquar.
