This was taken from edge of the expressway next to the River Foyle. The panorama opens looking towards the Guildhall with a view of Shipquay Gate over its shoulder. Beyond the gate is Shipquay Street.
As you rotate clockwise you pass the Harbour Museum, the telephone exchange and The City Hotel in Harbour Square. From there you start your sweep along the river front, past the College of Technology, Derry City Council's offices, and various riverside developments and on toward Lough Foyle.
If you continue to rotate you sweep along the East bank of the Foyle, known as "The Waterside". You pass the trees in St Columbs Park, the end of Browning Drive and the now disused Ebrington Barracks.
The final segment of the rotation takes you past the bus station on Foyle Street (with the building site for Debenhams Department Store behind) and back to Shipquay Gate.
