13th July 2009 was a day of international solidarity with the Palestinian people of East Jerusalem whose homes have been demolished by the IOF (Israeli Occupation Force).
At Free Derry corner a symbolic "tent village" was constructed, along with a cardboard representation of the wall that Israel has built through Palestinian land wrecking groves of olive trees and cutting off farmers from their land.
Moroccan band Gawa Fusion came from Casablanca to Free Derry corner to play as the cardboard wall was symbolically demolished - mostly by the children of Derry's anti-war protesters.
The full screen version of the panorama (see link at the end of this caption) has a sound track, as does the slide show, which is also embedded below. (If you click the appropriate button at the right of the slideshow control bar it will display full screen.)
There is also a "Little Planet" version of the panorama that shows the whole 360° view in a single shot.
