A sunny spring day at the junction of Duke Street, Craigavon Bridge, Spencer Road and Victoria Road.
This is an area that has seen huge redevelopment since the sixties. As you turn to the right you see a terrace of shops that is typical of the buildings that once ran the length of Duke Street. Much of it was demolished when the current dual carriage way was built in the seventies.
Now there are government offices on the riverside and six lanes of traffic dividing them from the rest of the waterside area.
As you rotate to the right you get a glimpse of the pink terrace at the end of Spencer Road. Continuing we see the traffic crossing Craigavon Bridge. In the distance we see Derry City Centre on the West bank of the river Foyle.
