This panorama opens on a sunny Sunday afternoon when people in yachts and pleasure boats were enjoying Lough Swilly. Initially we are looking inland towards the houses scattered up Gollan Hill.
As you start to rotate to the right we pass the boats in the Marina. As we swing around past the mouth of the Marina and along Inch Island we pass some people with fishing rods. We pass several sailing boats headed towards the mouth of Loch Swilly. Most of them will stay within the Lough and not venture out into the North Atlantic.
As we return to the Eastern shore of Lough Swilly we pass the Urris Hills and the town of Buncrana returning to our starting point.
There is also a marina on the River Foyle in Derry beside the City Council Offices.
