This was taken at lunch time, from the top of Brooke Park, on a sunny spring day.
It opens looking towards Derry City Centre. On the left is the spire of St Eugene's Cathedral on the right is the spire of St Columb's Cathedral within the walled city. The patch of green in between is overlooking the Bogside .
The sweep of the river creates a confusing perspective placing the Gobnascale and the Top of the Hill Park behind the city centre. (The river lies in between.)
Rotating to the left we see groups of school kids arriving to spend their lunch break in the park.
In the full screen version you can zoom in and see many features of the City Centre.
